Behind The Site
This site is powered by the stellar wordpress publishing platform, which is running on a linux (redhat) server. The theme is called Regulus by Ben over at Binary Moon. In addition to PHP and MySQL (which are required by wordpress), I have also used the excellent jquery javascript library sparingly on the site.
Some external sections of the site, those not managed by wordpress are developed in Python using various Python toolkits.
I update the site from my Lenovo T61p laptop, which runs both Windows Vista and Ubuntu Linux. Normally I update the site using Firefox 3, but I am also trying out Windows Live Writer as an external blogging tool.
Photos that you see posted on the site are taken by my Nokia N95.
